Begin - Josh's ambient music series
A few months ago Josh jokingly said to Phia, “Maybe I should improvise some solo guitar ambient music during the choir warm up”. She thought it was a great idea! It’s now an integral part of choir.
When people arrive at rehearsal they are invited to relax, shut their eyes, focus on their breath, let go of the day and focus on the now. Then we move into some very gentle stretches before we begin singing.
Josh creates the soundtrack for that special time, a sonic representation of being suspended and gently held in the moment and letting go.
After months of nagging him to record them, we finally wore him down and he agreed to release them for everyone to enjoy.
Each piece is improvised and recorded by Josh at rehearsal. Its pure bliss - just a guitar and a few pedals. We invite you to tune in and bliss out, all tracks from the series are now available on Spotify.
